ABOUT US
President Haiku was created in 2000 by journalist Thomas Nord, who was looking for a creative outlet on the Internet. A history buff with a particular interest in the presidency, Nord saw Presidential Haiku as a fun way to celebrate the men who built this country.
Presidential Haiku was an instant hit -- within weeks it was named one of Yahoo's "Cool Sites of the Day." That led to an Election Day feature story on NPR's "All Things Considered" and articles in the The Boston Globe, the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel and Japan's Yomiuri Shimbun.
Initially a simple Blogspot blog, Presidential Haiku was redesigned by web designer Dennis Sheridan and relaunched with scores of new features, just in time for the 2008 election season.
